Welcome to JT Driving School

For all purposes stated in the Policies & Regulations, JT Driving School will be referred to as “the school” and all students of JT Driving School will be referred to as “the students.” 1. All students must carry their valid driver’s license during all in-car lessons and while sitting on the car’s driver’s side. 2. The driving fee is $65.00 per 60 minutes.  3. A review lesson and a car rental for a road test is $155.00. 4. Driving lessons must be paid for in advance or prior to the commencement of the lesson. 5. A cancellation fee of $35.00 will be applied to all canceled lessons within less than 12 hours’ notice.  6. Back-seat observers/third parties are welcome with the permission of the student during the lesson.  7. Each in-car lesson is a minimum of 50 minutes of practice. a) If the instructor is late, the lesson will commence at the time the student meets the instructor; the entire lesson will be provided or the missing time will be added to a future lesson.  b) If the student is late, the lesson will commence at the time the lesson was scheduled; no extra time will be added. 8. Driving results will vary with each student; the school cannot guarantee all students will pass their driving test and obtain their driver’s license.  9. If an accident occurs while a student is driving the teaching vehicle:  a) The school does not claim the incident with ICBC, the student is required to pay half the damages caused to the teaching vehicle and any other vehicles involved in the accident, if applicable. 10. The school claims the incident with ICBC, the student is required to pay for the insurance deductible.  Important: *There will be no refund once lessons or road test sessions that have already started or taken place.*
